Can anyone recommend/provide any good sound banks?

I'm relatively new to producing and at the minute I am in search of some free trance sound banks for VST's, in the future I will be purchasing a few good ones that I have my eye on but for the time being I'm looking for ones out there that are free, I can't seem to come by any though?

Also, are all sound banks compatible with all VST's? If not I'm mainly using Sylenth1 at the moment so the sound bank would need to be compatible with it. I'm also after something that can provide a good trance baseline.

yes, of course all sound banks work with all VSTs no problem there.
sylenth won't do the job for trance basslines i'm afraid, it's designed mostly for classic rock. you should look at something like a Roland TR 808, that will really give you the basslines you need to be a superstar.
