Mix is ok but overall it's a bit basic, in the style of very early dance music, meaning you have some basic synth lines and some beats and thats about it.
You have a handle on being catch but you need a lot more artisanship if you want to convince todays audience you add up to something worthy of them engaging with.
Also 'dear newyork' is a bit of an odd word choice - it doesn't mean anything where'as something like 'Detroit I love this city' does.
So, your'e a trainee cook with a way to go yet, all the best on the journey.
thanks for the positive feedback, and yea i know i never quite understood dear new york its just from the original and a bergade is a misspelling of brigade haha

PS what is a 'bergade'?
Interesting point on the title. Touche Butler. You are on a roll today buddy.
Oldschool german house influence. Reminds me of the 90s. Keep layering fx like sweeps and some various percussion driven fx and you could have yourself a nice club pounder. Whats the status of sidechaining in this mix at the moment?

thanks for the feedback! and as for the title i was just going based off the original. As for side chaining the main synth line for the drop is chained to a kick but thats about it. Im very new to side chaining

for this kinda music, almost everything can be sidechained, including a lot of percussion. Minus kicks (although experimenting with sub kick sidechaining when you are layering kick samples can create a really phat ducking effect. But claps/snares - since they should def be a couple samples per - some can be sidechained, some not - and all should have separate sidechain parameter so that it doesnt have a static ducking effect across the whole mix. And when the breaks come, you automate the sidechain out of stuff - like synths, but the sidechain on percussion if its part of the dynamics of the sound itself can be left - like if you have a light sidechain effect on a snare to create a sucking effect with it.
