Glad you're digging it too. Expanded on the idea. The breakdown transition is a little abrupt at the moment.

I like what you got so far. The stabs are really nice and the new section is great. I hope you can free some time and finish this as soon as possible.

Thanks guys, been getting really positive reactions. Might have some peak time tech house right here. Someone mentioned the breakdown is a little too "airy", I tend to agree but I like the melody. Maybe some kind of reece or hard drop, something to take it harder after the breakdown? Ideas, ideas! Brewing the coffee now.

Doesnt sound good on my system mang, the kick it too fappy, and the whole mix is a bit nasaly. There is a resonance hump kind of thing going on in the bass, I wouldnt bother fixing it though, time for a new source there.

Interesting, will give me something to think about. What kind of speakers are you using? Anyone else want to check on their system to compare feedback to MSZ? Would be good to know since I haven't referenced this out anywhere yet and I'd like to get the mixdown totally solid before continuing.

Speako no Americano ?!?

sounds a bit like some of the UMEK tracks, that eastern European house.... not a very big fan of the genre, because all of these tracks either become a "no speak Americano" clone of you're just waiting for the folklore part with accordion kicking in... curious how this will develop...

It will have my own touch. I never emulate anyone, or A/B for that matter. I do like some of Umek's tracks and I love minimal tech house. No accordions or lame vocal snips. I'll need to re-monitor the low end apparently. Raphie, you have a rig. How does the mix hold up?

edit: The sub bass on the off beat is predator. I remember it being a little wonky but didn't notice it right away. It's everything below about 120 Hz, the other bass part/layer is part of the actual stab. I'll take a look at each of these, and the kick. It may not be tuned correctly, I can check. Thanks

I love the triplet midi - maybe you can just re-source as somebody said onto a new new track.. kick sounds tight on the top end, but its a tad thin low end, so why dont you just double up with a subkick sample. and as for the bass line, i never have only one synth running for any riff - its just too thin on the digital front - if you have a virus or moog, then fine. but otherwise, layer layer layer.

raph has a good ear, and legitimate setup for commenting, as for the others, no idea so take what you want advice wise and ignore the rest, haters will hate regardless lol (im sure you can figure out who fits this). but meriter is right bout the kick - so just add a subkick sample it will fill the top end out proper too.

finish this jont! i like the trips!
