I think human life is based on intelligence. Innovation of new technologies and ideas are brought upon to improve human lifestyle and human satisfaction. I dont beleive human desires is just as a result boredom, i think its also monotony. Humans continuely evolve not physically (im not an evolutionist), but we evolve through our thoughts and ideas to understand the environment we live in and find ways to suit our needs.

Well, I agree with some things you've said, and there were some things that I needed to hear right now.

However, I've got a different opinion about some things you've said.

Society isn't perfect and ironically, it wants us to be perfect, that's true.

However, I don't think that human life and desire are based on boredom: free time allows us to solve our problems, but it doesn't mean that every human society works like that. Brazilian indians had an harmonic way of life and they didn't harm the enviroment as we do nowadays. Their goal was to survive using what they had been given, not creating new things.

War comes from greed, not from boredom. Sometimes, men are selfish and not sharing things is the main cause for almost every war - the search for absolute power that is.

I don't agree with many things about our society: it's too individualist, values are almost disappearing and all people care about is in a way to get more powerful (money, politics, ...).

I'm actually taking some Sociology subjects at university right now, and that's being quite helpful to understand several phenomena... I could go on for hours and hours, but this post would get too bloody long

Actually, he was sad because German people had lost its pride and that's what triggered the whole thing: he wanted to show the world how powerful Germany could be. I don't think that's related to boredom, but to pride and the search for absolute power... you know?
