Photoshop 7 Beta or Final?

Hey people,just got a version of photshop 7 from a friend of mine,entitled as photoshop 7 beta(title of cd).The cd is 178mbs used and the installer does not mention any beta or anything!
Is it the real,should i trust it?
If not,what are the flaws of the beta?
