This is one of the main issues I have with dubstep. Just as there is a formula for trance there is most definitely a formula for dubstep.

Sure, you have nailed the components of dubstep but I don't feel that there is anything that sets this appart from any of the other dubstep tracks out there.

I would also suggest that you revisit the amount of limiting/compression on the track, there is no sonic definition in your track, and can be become quite tiresome on the ears especially in the higher frequencies.

Actually, gave this another shot on a different system, also not so tired.

I realise that I was wrong about the sonic definition. Fuck knows what I was thinking?

I still stand by my comments about formulas, and I am very wary of the fact that I too abide by them.
