so who started this rumor? and how long has it been since daft punk have played a show? i dont remember them playing since i got into electronic music myself...

they do play shows here and there
i think they did a suprise show last year somewhere

last tour i think they had was back in 07
they played in coney island

Yeah, I don't remember why I didn't go but I've always regretted it. They played in Buffalo and I was in Syracuse at the time. Bad move on my part.

The way I see it is if Daft Punk does finally decide to do a tour, it is most likely hitting Europe first. So until we see them there, don't get your hopes up for anything in the US. I think the last time they played was at some French indie bands concert as a surprise guest like three years ago, and something like that is where I'd assume that they make their next appearance, then announce a tour off of that hype. Not at some bandwagon festival like Coachella has turned into.
