That is pretty fucking ridiculous. That is just bad booking/management. In my opinion they just look plain dumb kicking these DJs off the decks. How can you not know what Shadow's style is and what he likes to play? And how can you not know what type of crowd comes to your club? Pretty ridiculous.
IMO Shadow's team should have probably done their homework too though. He does not really play clubs like that, so I dunno why he chose to play there, and why they booked him.
Overall though, it's still pretty shameful to kick a guy like that off the decks.

Right, I guess the name "DJ Shadow" is kind of a misnomer - he's not as much of a DJ as he is an artist/producer. I'm sure back in the day he used to do some great DJ sets (there are some solid radio recordings of him), but he does have his limits and he can't just rock a Miami nightclub. Both parties should have known that. Perhaps they thought they would draw his fans in, but judging by the douchebags yelling in the video, sounds like the promoters didn't do a great job at that. That's why ultimately, I think the club looks unprofessional.
