where can i go for some pro reviews or consumer reviews on cd players, mixers, mics, speakers, the whole package. maybe i can get more info on what to get

i might just end up getting two cdj100s, djm300mixer, and an effector with it. that mgiht get me all set. for starters

yeesh, first off, keep it in one thread dude.

second, pioneer is good, but i still think they are overpriced for what they do.

if i were you, i'd get a DJM500, and 2 cdj100s, or better if you can afford it.

the effects on the 500 are actually pretty damn neat. the same as come on the pioneer EFX unit i'm pretty sure.

sorry for the many threads. as you can see im getting kinda impatient on this whole thing about buying some gear.

so the EFX has the same effects on the djm500?

maybe i'll go with that package deal with 2 100s, 300 mixer, and efx plus on top of everything it comes with a flight case. neat huh?

now I got a question. the specs on the EFX said that it has like 20 effects but only see 6 like wah, zip, jet and such which i don't think i need since the cdj100 already has that feature. if so then it is just adding 3 new effects. i don;'t know

does it have an effect mode that mocks like a vinyl stopping abrubtly on a turntable? heard that from the axis 8

im really deciding to just keep everything pioneer since it does have options later on that if you hook these babies up together with a pioneer mixer as well

the efx has many more effects than the 500 or 600. Very nice to use in conjunction with the djm300 for budget purposes.
