Been kind of fucking around with this one for a while so some feedback would be nice.

So far my critique is as follows...
take vox FX away at start
stabs might be a bit much...
weird eq peak on distorted lead
fix sudden transition after bass stops
work on better energy in the breakdown... big buildups

Yes, the vocals are kind of awkward in there and just don't seem right. Maybe just some subtle and basic white noise sweeps instead?

Not really. In terms of volume and how they come in, they're fine. Only change I'd make would be to mess around with the Delay and Reverb, cutting them down a little so that you can hear less of it by the time the next stab comes in.

Yes, but not too badly. Just letting through a little bit more low-end might be enough, but otherwise just find the annoying peak and cut it a little, but it's not too noticeable in my opinion.

Yes, but an easy fix if I had this track. All I would do is add filter sweep that goes up to around 130hz while adding in some flanger. Also maybe put in that sound that comes in suddenly at 2.20. Chuck that on the end of the bassline with low volume and a good amount of Reverb and Delay.

Not much I can add in for this one because my buildups are very different to this type. Maybe have a quiet pad thats kind of in the middle of warm and cold in terms of its feel. possibly that sound that I was talking about at 2.20.

This isn't the style of music I make, but I hope some of this can help at all or at least inspire some ideas.

Despite all that, I still very much like it. The part at 0.56 where the bass sound gets its low-end back is really neat. All the sounds, although low in number, are great together and do an awesome job of giving out a nice deep, chilled out feel.

Definitely keen to hear this one when it's finished.

Good luck

Regards,

Mike

Funny, SC is working for me again, wierd.

Nice track - the big stabs are great. I like the vox but I would bring them in after the big stabs stop in the intro as it went a bit energy -out there.

Lively mix, bass and percs great.

Theres a choir pad briefly in the intro - it doesn't suit the mood for me. Would prefer a massive dark stab with masses of verb tail.

Break - really too quiet maybe for a while there?

That arpy thing in break - mess with it, stagger some notes, machine gun some, flange bits, verb bits, bit crush some and really give it more vibe and groove.

It's a good track if you can get the structure done.

Cool, thanks for checking. Damn, wish I had more time to work on music these days! I should be done moving into a new place in a few weeks and will have much more time. That will be nice.
