I believe this is the last party before SPACE changes hands and is no longer in LP's hands. If it is, what a shitty dj to book to end an era.

A lot of artists today are just victims, not having control, and they're not free. And that's pathetic. If you start being dependent on money, then money has to reach a point to fit your expenses. - Thomas Bangalter

This may be a sign of future bookings at Space. Afterall, Afrowhack played Mansion before and now the Opium guys are in control of Space. Goodbye old Space!

Yeah not exactly the best sign of things to come. Important to remember that Space does book some bullshit from time to time. Laidback Luke on the Terrace last year...remember that? That guy is far worse than Afrowack, if you can believe that. Probably the worst DJ in the game from a music perspective (the Vain show in Orlando was horrific...I hope I never experience shit music like that again, lol). Steve Angello gets a Space gig every now and then too...although he really does have some talent and can hold his own.
But yeah, kinda worried that the place is going to move in the wrong direction...Hurry up and get your new place going LP!
And this information is most likely worthless but I spoke to a Space employee last weekend for a bit and he told me that Roman has absolutely no plans to change the formula. Told me Space would remain as is and continue to mostly book techno and tech-house DJs on the Terrace.

I heard they are doing away with the druggy music. This is a sign of that.

'druggy music?' so they're doing away with the older crowd doing drugs and moving in the newer, obnoxious kids wearing "ZOMG I'M ON MOLLY" t-shirts?

If I can't have everything, well then just give me a taste.
Luckily I'm leaving for New England in about a week and a half. That way I'm far away and am not tempted to go to Space. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Space in the next few months. I noticed a lot of comments on the Space FB page with people pissed off that Afroshit is playing. Get ready! I bet Aoki is on his way with his stupid raft/cake/jump around routine. WHAT A DJ!
