A question about Fruity Loops and Reason

Do both of these give you the capability to remix songs that have already been produced? Like I can make my own remixes of stuff by PvD or whatever? If they don't, is there a good software program that does allow me to do that?

Of course they're good enough. The question is, do you have a good enough ear to transcribe the melodies in the song to patterns in FLP or Reason? That's the main work, IMO
