hehe, personally, I think our government has better structure than the USAs.

You guys just have Republican + Democrat. We've got:

NDP (left-wing)
Liberals (middle)
PC (right-wing)
Alliance (semi right-wing)
Block (French lol)

and of course all the other parties that don't matter:

CAP
Marxist-Lenist (sp?)
Communist
Green
Marijuana
Christian Heritage
Freedom Party
Ontario Party
Canadian Law Party

This list goes on, but the point is: There's a minimum of 5 views on a single issue. People are always busy arguing and nothing gets done hehehe

just so u know, we have a hell of a lot more parties than democrat and republican... the green party, socialist party, bull moose party, the list goes on.. they just all dont have enough size to make too much of a differnece on a large scale... just thought id share

A good government is exactly one that gets nothing done. The U.S. government would be much better, for instance, if instead of a simple majority, a 90% majority was required to pass a bill. It wouldn't stop every stupid idea from getting implemented, but it would stop a lot of them.

Oddly enough, Club Glow's website is not working. Club Glow is another club in DC that pulls in major trance DJs (good ol' Johan is a resident there). If they shut them down, there will be a riot.

The thing is, I'm sure there was some sort of legitimate reason for it to get shut down. Maybe the people running it were making money off drug sales or something. Regardless I think you all should be angry at the operators of the clubs for allowing trafiking, not the goverment which would have smashed them even if the rave law wasnt passed.

Anyone who's ever been to a club that plays rap music knows that there's just as much drugs there as there are at rave type events...it's all a big conspiracy
