If you have a Cannon XF 300 camcorder and got the mxf files from this device, you must have the same problem with me that is how to make this Cannon XF 300 mxf files work on Final Cut Pro? It is really troublesome question for Final Cut Pro X to read these mxf files and if there is a method to trans-code mxf files into Apple ProRes, then Final Cut Pro should reads it smoothly without any issue.

Transcode Cannon XF 300 mxf files to Apple ProRes on Mac

Freely download Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac, this software is green and clean without ads.

Install and launch it. Click Add button, your source mxf files will be imported into this software, and then go to Format, then select Apple ProRes 422 (*.mov).

The last step is to click Convert button to start the converet Cannon XF 300 mxf to Apple ProRes conversion with Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac.

Just a few clicks, you then easily completed the whole transcoding from mxf files to Final Cut Pro Apple ProRes.
