Wait, it's missing the rain. Erm, never mind. |
No, my good man, a lot of people already thought this was to song, but f*** it, it's not.
I remeber that in the comment section of video, everybody was wondering what song this was, because it was so awesome. Nobody knew, but one of them thought it might be Shpongle. I then proceeded to listen every possible Shpongle song. During the process, I really learned a lot about his music (my favorite is "Star shpongled banner").
Next thing was to investigate some bands similar to Shpongle, such as Abakus, Solar Fields, Ott and others, but no luck, either.
I saw that other people were searching a song quite similar to mine, and it wasn't the "Children", but they didn't find it as well.

Like, does it turn into straight-ahead 140bpm trance? Or something slower? Because the way you're describing it (and using the Shpongle example), it could be a LOT of potential psy artists. Very hard to narrow it down.

After the piano-rain intro, it gruadually speeds up, the tempo is increasing and it finally hits the climax with the full paced trance. One characteristic of the second phase of the song is that the sound that is being altered and repeated is somewhat beatbox-ish or whatever. It reminded me of the sound that the tongue makes when it hits palate and it sounds like that a bottle just popped open. On the other hand, it remotely resembled the sound that castanets make.
I thought that there aren't so many songs with intro like this one, but I guess I was wrong
I just hope it isn't some private mix only used to that freaking video, but I think its too good for that. At least, I hope...
I'm far from a music expert, but i think the song never reaches 140 bpm, so it probably would be better to clasify it as psy song.
