^Yes, it would be fair to say they have made some good choices over the last 3 years in the A&R Dept.

Electronic music has long since involved blatant sampling, the Way Out West albums (with Nick) being no exception (i.e. "Blue" samples the Theme from Withnail & I, "The Gift" samples Joanna Law's cover of Roberta Flack's "The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face"). Anyway, you've got that reversed as far as the production talents go. Jody started with hip hop in the 80s, a momentary stint with house and then rave/hardcore before finally meeting Nick (a couple of samples):
Nick has certainly come a long ways, however.
