Who else is going? I'm pretty sure I've done this before, but long time ago, but can't recall. So let's consider this my first time.
Heading up that weekend for the NIN concert at the ACC on Friday, figured I'd stay for another night do Nuit Blanche.
So, any tips for a noob? Any Nuit Blanche vetrans?
What is mandatory to hit, what is so so, where are the best party areas?
What time should we head out, come home etc?
Any other suggestions?
Most people say pocket a mickey of whiskey, or toss a 26'er in a purse/bag. What's the dealio?

if psychedelics are your thing, grab some zoomers and check out everywhere except yonge/dundas square (WAY too busy). it's a fun chance to take in all kinds of art and explore the city at night.
i started around sunset and got home around 6AM last year. was in a drum circle/tribal chant at the sun life building on university, laid on the floor watching a projection piece in city hall, photocopied various body parts with some weird electronica dj from belgium spinning, and crept through the eaton centre parking garage which was turned into an art installation. i was tripping balls but overall it was a pretty cool experience, can't wait for this year!

Bah!
It is what you make of it - I've gone out for it for most years, and generally have a good time.
- Avoid anything that requires a line up
- Pack some road booze (but not too much)
- Have minimal agenda
- Go with a small group of friends
- Treat it as an excuse to have a random-run-around-the-city night with friends being silly, looking at 'art' and having fun

Technically you can say that about anything. I would prefer to do something which requires less effort to make fun.

I'm sure Nuit Blanche will be nice.
The NIN concert should also be excellent. Loving their new album.
Keep an eye out for random street parties all over the city.

If I go to Dettmann, I'll never end up doing the walk. OR it could be an AMAZING walk... but probably not end up doing it.
I am however looking for something to do after the concert on Friday, something new, fun, interesting. And something besides shopping or cliche during the day Saturday.
