I personally dont think its anything special, I think most people just think its great because everyone else says its great. Trance Guru says 'tiesto @ energy 2000 is great' Trance pawns reply 'tiesto @ energy 2000 is great' I've never heard a crowd yell louder than oakenfold @ gatecrasher. Or how about Nu NRG @ orgasmatron orrrrrr ATB @ trance energy, c'mon people jump off the bandwagon

Listen to it and pretend your there, the track selection is awsome imo full of energy. At that time it was one of the best sets out, and it lasting 2 years and still have people hammering it is rare.

Plus this set is a lot of people's first trance liveset that got them into trance and i could name a couple friends i know that got into trance with this set, could you say that about any other set ?

But your opinion is yours. The MC is actually helping the build up

I like this set simply because it's full of energy and is the most uplifting set I've ever heard.....

This is one of the best trance sets of all time IMO.
This is what made me fall totaly in love with Trance and made me know I want to spin it.
I love it because it has so much raw hard energy and power, but at the same time such uplifting beautiful spirit!!

sadly, I listen to it now and I go "What the hell happened to this man? This is not the Tiesto I know now!!!"
