Get bullied when I was younger, when I should've stood up for myself.
Not hit on enough girls in high school cos I was shy and had lower self-esteem.
Going to Cancun with my former best friend, whereupon I became dissillusioned, bitter, and cynical.
Wasting a few years at an acting class with a swindler of a teacher, whereby I became more dissillusioned, more bitter, and more cynical.
Wasting years and doing odd jobs after college, when I should've focused on a career and goals.
Cursing at my father once and emotionally hurting him.
Being with prostitutes.
Doing acid, crack, and possibly mushrooms.
Going to a 2nd yeshiva in Israel, where I had a breakdown.
Making the mistake of moving to Crown Heights, where I only spent a few days, and ended up paying a full month's rent. |
Honestly, out of this list... I would say that:
-cursing at your father should be the only one you should feel remorseful about. everything else is LIFE.
Fuck it brother, we're not perfect. The only times I feel serious remorse is when I lash out at a family member, and it's for no other reason than to try and hurt them. the other stuff, drugs, bad decisions, etc, all that stuff doesn't matter. your family matters.
