The 29th November marks a huge landmark for the UK trance scene and particularly the underground music capital of the north - Manchester - as the only seasonal monthly UK trance night in existence - re:format - hails its 1st Birthday at its deep dark home of Bassment. For this very special occasion; a highlight of the positive growth of the northern, and in particular, Manchester trance scene, it would only be appropriate to welcome the uk's pioneer of underground music himself, John 00 Fleming, for a very special extended set!
12 Months ago a monthly night in the city was thought impossible, but with the belief, strength and passion from our great team, residents, acts and most dedicated supporters we have turned our underground concept into just that, with a brand that not only helps keep the underground moving forward but also supports those deserving artists and up coming talent dj's on a regular basis. Thank you so much to every single one of you who has supported what we do, from buying a ticket to the event to just sharing our media on facebook. It all helps and means we can continue putting the underground back into the scene which the superstars have taken away.
Time then to celebrate in true underground re:format style with 3 of the UK's best offerings: An extended set from the global underground hero John 00 Fleming, with back up from the most under-rated production master and unsung hero Activa, and finally the norths rising star Sam Mitcham. Support will come from the handpicked re:format residents plus some talented guests to be announced.
