it was an awesome night!
that was one crazy party...the music was really good, but the crowd wasnt. lots of gino types, and rude people who dont say excuse me when trying to get by...
anyway, got to the guv complex around midnight, only to find a massive line up! but it moved really quick which was good. got inside, and was handed 2 free drink tickets! i got over to the coat check, only to find that i had to go to the guvernment to check my coat. that was a mission in and of itself what with the insane amount of people there.
they had these steel fence things right near the guv coat check to control the crowd, and people were pushing up against it cause they wanted to get by, it was nuts, i thought there was gonna be a riot.
i heard dave ralph's set, it was pretty good, but i was hearing it while waiting at the bar forever to get drinks! green velvet was good, he is one crazy freak. he did play 'flash' but it was hard to make out the vocals cause they were kind of distorted. went to kool haus after velvet to catch nick warren, and he killed it! the lighting, lazers, and sound in the guv were all spectacular, as was warrens set, but again, too many people and not too many manners.
left after warrens set only to wait at coat check for 30 mins to get my coat...what a nightmare.
all in all though, a good night!

what a blast I had!!!!!!!!!!!
This was by far one of the best parties this year (well there were ofcourse a few fuck ups about it as well).
Got to the parking lot at 10pm, ran to the line-up @ around 10:10 was looking for 'tranner' and his brother for about 10 min or so. They showed up and we got in after waiting for about 20 min or so. The security guards were kind of bitchy!
Got in got the complimentary drink flyer. WOW! Corporate sponsorship all the way! (LOL! maybe not!)
Waited about 5 min to get my coat to the coat check. (No fuck ups from them this time, they lost my sweater when I was there last time )
Walked around the whole Guv. complex, it looks very spacious at 10:30pm! LOL!
Went to check out the Guv and Matt C was spining, some house was nice for a warm-up. But than, when I got back to the KoolHaus I was trying to figure out how the fuck they though De-Koze was good as an opener? I mean this guy should be the headliner! What a banging fucking set. Played some nice tracks progressive tracks 'New Order - Crystals (Lee Combs Mix), BPT - Moody'. I danced my ass off! Ran into Viceroy, TranceXtacy, Cloud9 + his bro, and Swamper. Reminded them all that the meet up was at the Acid Loung @ 12:30.
Danced my ass off a little more.
So at around 12:15 I remember 'the meet up is at 12:30' so I rushed to the Orange Room to get to the GUV, and what do ya know! The guards were not letting anyone in for about 10 min. So I had to wait, than with this line-up it took me like 20 more min to get into the GUV. And all for what? Just to find my self squeezed like a sardine in a can. MAN, was this place packed or what. Ran into some TA's again. TALL PAUL was playing some weird shit. So anyway they tell me that there is no one at the meet up spot. So I was like fuck. I tryed to get back into the KoolHaus the same way I came in, but guess what? YOu had to go through the outside to get back to the KoolHaus. Took me about oh another 30 min or so! WTF! Now I understand why it was so packed. The retards closed the coat check at the KoolHaus and all those people that arived late had to go through the GUV to the coat check. Can you say 'disorganised'!
Got back to the KoolHaus was looking around for my friend, he disapeared. So I tryed to dance to the sounds of Dave Ralph, but he just did not do it for me. He played some progressive breaks, which was kind of cool. I met Andre from non other than SONIC STATE, had a little chat with him. He is such a nice guy! I made a promise to my self, I am not going back to the GUV, it was just way too packed. So I stayed around for the rest of Dave Ralph's set, and he played a really nice tune. Don't know what it was had a really nice vocal was almost like uplifting trance. He played it like 4 songs before the end of his set. Can anyone ID it????
Than Green Velvet, I was looking forward to hearing 'Flash, La La Land', but as soon as the whole thing started. I was like "man what the fuck is this shit", I could not hear any vocals what so ever, all I heard was just a deep bass. So I was like, fuck all this I am gonna go home. LOL! Just kidding, but I almost felt that way. So I was like what the fuck do I have to loose? So I took of to the GUV, to my surprise there was no line up at all to get into the GUV. I walked in and what do you think I hear? "DJ's, Fans and Freaks", so I was like has Nick Warren gone absolutely insane!!!!!!!! Not that I don't like Blank and Jones. LOL! Than I looked at the schedule and it was none other than John Kelly! What a DJ! I only caught the last half hour of his set! But he was totaly just rocking the place! What a blast I had, to him playing a bunch of classics!!!!!!!! And than he puts on a bootleg of 'Energy 52 - Caffe Del Mar'. Man I just fucking melted right there!!! It's like I almost had an orgasm!! LOL!
Simply put John Kelly ROCKS!!!!!
Than I bumped into 'Kaitracid' we had a really nice chat. Remeber meeting yoy at Tiesto@KoolHaus! Man those light shows that you guys put on was amazing!!!!!!!! Than I ran into HanSolo. Nice to meet you finaly bro!
Than I ran into RuffRyda and Evmac, always nice to see you guys represent!!! Than I ran into everyone else! it's like a big TA meet up all over again! Arcticboy happy b-day once again! Hope you had a blast! Nick Warren simply dominated, I loved every single progressive part of it! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Than I just danced my ass off once again and chatted a little more with all of you TA's! The highlight of the night was when I was handed a CD by some girl, it's a Smirnoff Experience CD, with tracks from Tall Paul, De-Kooze, Matt-C + more!
Than at around 5am I was just way to tired and had to leave, I was really slippy and tired, and have to work at 4pm - 11pm tonight.
Overall I would have to say that I had as much fun as I did at the Wintergalactic this Feb, when Tiesto was here. If not more!
Surely there were a few sweatty gino's and some ppl that pushed, but I did not care about that at all. I had so much fun being around all the other TA's!
P.S. Swamper I have to thank you once again, for creating a community like this for all of us! thanx! always nice to see you represent!

What a night, I must say that it was a kicken night with a few problems. Got there at 12:30 and had line bypass which was a lifesaver, then I go to the coat check in the koolhause and the bouncer wouldn't let me in even though he let the 5 people in front of me in. Then I had to go to the guv to coat check and that almost took me a full half hour, that really pissed me off and I thought it was gonna be a shit night. But every DJ just rocked in my opinion except for Green Velvet who I didn't understand and just heard pure bass. The crowd was alright, all types of people, a few sweaty gino's but not as many as normal, some unbelievably hot girls showing as much skin a possible. The one thing that pissed me off was that you could only get smirnoff shit at the bar, thats fahqed, my friends couldn't even get a beer, I think thats just going to far. But other than that it was a great night, the music was wicked no matter what room I was in and I even met a couple of TA's who were dancing up a storm. Without a doubt one of the best parties of the year

I heard the budget for this party was $800,000! That's crazy shit..
Well the production was top notch, wikked decor. Only complaint would be coat check way too long, and can't get anything else to drink but smirnoffs. Well at least they were free. And the guv crowd...not my scene. The kool haus crowd was wasn't bad, not to mention alot nicer in there. Nick Warren, was awesome, first time seen him live. Dj Dan was pumpin. Green Velvet was great, but the vocals got annoying after awhile. All in all, good times, thanks to all the hot chicks around me..lol. Left at 5am to flyer in the freezing cold. It was well worth it tho to see peoples' reaction when they got the WG2002 preflyer. Thanks for the support!
peace..

Overall a pretty good night. Started off in a good manner, saw the massive line up all the way down the street, but one of my buddies secured me a spot near the front. This chick also hooked us up with well priced tickets while waiting in line. As I got inside I was mesmorized by the beautiful decor of the Kool Haus. The smirnoff guys did a really good job in that department. Ran into Trancearmada, and another TA who's name I forgot (sorry). Saw this really hot chick (long platinum blode hair, well tanned, massive tits) WOW, one of the hottest girls I seen in a long time. All the meanwhile Deekoze was spinning some pretty nice stuff.
From there I proceded to the Guvernment, and It was also very altered from its original presence. Again, great decor, love the trip screens. LOL The Guv. was a little chaotic but I kind of expected that. Anyways, I have to send a shout out to all the TA I met, Swamper, DieTcocaine (it was cool hanging with you man, hope you had a good time at Comfort Zone), Raverfriendly, hansolo, and articboy (man I'm really glad I ran into you it was awesome chilling with you, and once again HAPPY B-DAY!!!). I know that I also ran into some other TAs, and I apologize for forgetting your names (nothing personal).
As for the music, well it was the not best but it was ok I guess. Deekoze was good, Tall Paul was ok, John Kelly and Nick Warren were probobly the best of the night for me. I'm really an epic type of guy, so I really did not loose my self in the moment like I have in the past with Tiesto, AVB, and Gielen. Green Velvet was just terrible in my opinion! Dave ralf was not that good either. I don't want any wars starting over this, like I said before these are just my personal subjective opinions.
Nevertheless, it was a fun night, ok music, nice decor, great peeps, and a nice vibe. On the downside, for the second consecutive party (AVB being the previous) I lost my coat check ticket. Needless to say I was the last person out of the GUV.!!
Take care guys, and see you at the next party!
