muahah!!! thats right, we did it in electronics the other week, everything, doesnt actually touch, it floats, heres how:
Everything as you know is made up of atoms, and atoms are protons, neutons, and electrons. The electron is on the outist most part of the atom. As basic magnets taught us, oppersites repel, so if you got two magnets, and tried to the make the North pole on both touch, they would try and repel.
Sooooo as everything is made up of atoms, and electrons are on the outest, nothing actually gets to touch. When you walk, the force being emitted from the bottom of your shoes, pushes against the force being emitted by the ground, both sets of electrons are touching each other, forcing each other in the opperstite direction, thus making u stand, or in actual fact, float.
Do you see where im going with this? u have to believe it a little, but it is true. theres loads of if but and maybes about how u make a noise when u stamp etc but the principle is there!
Another example: when you touch your hand, and your skin goes in, it doest. the force emitted from your touching finger pushes against the force being emitted by your hand, thus pushes in your hand with the two forces against each other, not actually your finger touching your hand.
Theres loads of questions to ask, and i wont be able to answer them, but thats what we got told and if you think about it, its true also!
