Fellow Sydney tranceaddicts i am in need of some advice and/or assistance.

In light of trancey ash's "Does Australia Frustrate You?" thread i have one of my own.

FACTS:

Godskitchen is at GAS
Im U18
I HAVE a ticket
I DON'T have an ID

Now my questions are:

a) do the bouncers at Gas check ID? (closely)
b) are they difficult with punters?
c) do they allow passouts and if so, what time(s)?

The situation until today was that i was going to GK relying on a friends's friends ID who remotely looks like me - yet we have heard from the bluelight that the rumours are that the passoust were at 3.

My friend and his friend (with the ID) were going to go in and then my friend was going to come out GAS, pretend like hes making a fone call and slip me his friends ID (the guy who looked like me)

Will this work?

If not what other suggestions could u offer with the aforementioned details?

The other option that has arisn was that my friend's friend (the guy that looks like me) was going to go into the RTA and report a lost licence and pay $18 get a new one that takes 30mins and i pay him back.

Alternatively could i not go in and fill the application form for a lost licensce on his behalf (with his details and get my photo taken)?

Is this too risky?

Please fellow Godskitchen attendees i am in need of desperate assistance - the past couple of weeks things have been pretty bad for me and this was the only thing that was keeping my 'alive' - for it to be ripped away from me like this when im so close who crush me; so PLEASE if there is any advice u could possibly offer that would be immensely appreciated.

Are there really bad legal problems if you do the fake license thing? I wouldn't take the risk but thats just me. At the worst you could get denied and miss out, but then you could scalp your ticket

1 - bouncers at Gas are nobs
2 - I doubt pass outs would be as late as three.
3 - He will have to look a hell of a lot like you. Make sure you have his key card and stuff as well in case they ask for anything else if the drivers license isn't enough.
4 - the method you mentioned before about going in yourself and getting his license done used to get done all the time when i was a teenager. You need to have his birth certificate with you though in order to get another one made. You also need to know his signiture and all his details, and i heared they use to ring up the person on your details to make sure its you but not sure if this is true.


Funny story. My mate did this, but the complication was that the original holder of the license had glasses and he wasn't wearing any, so he told them that he got contact lenses and redid the eye exam without glasses. Then, the real person went back later to get his silver license and said that he had alsways needed glasses and to redo the eye exam. Pretty close call

why not goto the rta and get a proof of age card
less hassle than faking ur friends id

I cant remember the exacts but a friend of mine did the license trick, got found out somehow, but never had to pay a fine. Im pretty sure he got found out by him and his friend (who had the same license details) going somewhere together and using the licenses one after the other and the bouncer just took them away.

So I guess the moral is, if you get caught, chin up, and try and find another way instead of getting a fake license again.

ya, that's prolly the simplest & safest thing to do

my bro got one 'cos he couldn't be arsed getting his licence LOL...should be able to get it same-day 'cos i just went to renew my licence & got it after sitting around for about 10min...u have 1 day left!!!

My Brother might be getting a job at Gas as a bouncer...first he has to go to CHUBB security to get his certificate there..

until then you gotta turn 18 but till he gets the job come even if your 12 years old...ill tell him to get you in.
