Havent used reason in along time but decided to workk on a few old tracks. when i loop a string section it doesnt play the first note of midi althou the first kick plays, i have quantised it and resequeced it but to no avail.. running reason 4 and ableton 9

any help would be awesome

Just to be sure: is the midi note triggered before the looping section?

yeah...have deleted and drawn in again to make sure

Live is weird like that with looping, try nudging the first note by a small amount and see if that works

Still not sure if we are on the same line, can you make a quick screenshot just to be sure?

But if we are:
The DAW can't play a note that's triggered outside of the looped section (unless you enable this in the settings/preferences).
