What time does this place close? Opening time is 8 so this could be a 9 hour gig if it closes at 5.

Hoping Lit Ultrabar, the best space in Philly but seriously mismanaged, books one of the artists for an afterparty. They can go until 6am from time to time.

I'm not talking bookings, or anything of the sort to do with management, or anything other than the actual physical location. But it fits 1,000+, has a loud although not perfect system, and has a license to go past 2. So enlighten me, what are you talking about? Rumor, Whisper, Dolphin Tavern? (My favorite but fits maybe 300,) G Lounge?, Zee Bar?..

i agree... bookings at Lit are shit..
the weekly local djs there are shit as well..
Rumor - not bad, depending on the booking and the crowd

Dolphin Tavern - never been
G Lounge - haven't been there in over 6 yrs?

Agreed on everything, just thinking it would be the best place for an afterparty due to size and after hours possibility.

Also check out the dolphin. It gets crowded but awesome place for techno, house, deep, garage etc. Owned by the same company as Morgan's Pier, Union Transfer, and Drinkers.
