A really deep thought into trancemusic....

I just listened to again an amazing set I got here and I've been thinking.
A good set gives me such an euphoric feeling, a feeling that I can't find anywhere else then just listening to a great journey through trance music.
I came to the conclusion that this music is the biggest thing that came into my life to make me feel good (since I don't have a g/f yet )
Therefore this music left such an incredible scar on me...when we're 20 years later I still think back to these days when the music was so much onto me.
I can't think of anyone else (except from here) who has been sooo much involved into music like me. And I think that the only music is trance that can create such a feeling (the name says it self..)
I mean if something must happen to my trance collection, I cry the shit out of me.
Trance has left a deep scar on me.

Just had an emotional trance euphoric feeling so I copied this straight from my mind

Yeah, you're talking about the exact same feeling that got me hooked on trance... What else should my nick be refering to?

But out of curiosity, what set did you listen to I might download it if I haven't got it already

Cheers,

I remember the trance around 2000, and i've had this feeling that maybe i've been missing something? or am i jealous at something? i dont know really, and i dont know how i can explain it either, its just something wierd.. but this feeling will never ever disappear.

Music is my life.

I never really felt anything deep down before I heard trance. Now trance is easily the majority of what I listen to. Purely because of the good feeling it gives.

i don't agree that it is the only genre, but the feelings trance evokes for me are very much the same. sometimes, it's as if i'm on another planet in a solar system a million lightyears away from here...

I think we all have the same feelings! I can't even explain mune and don't understand how only certain people have these feelings. Kudos Tranceseeker! Well said...I respect all of your words

I just do it exactly the way I enjoy listening to it. This is most of the time it is with banging beats. It is even with a soft thing, a soft melodic idea, or whatever. I still like to have it rocking. Keep in mind what this music is made for, first of all. Its not made to be easy listening on the radio. Its not made to be easy listening in television. Its actually kick ass in the club. This is what music is. This is the purpose of this art form...to listen to it and let the frequencies actually blow you away. --Paul Van Dyk
