So I did some digging on the interweb/tranceaddict for the ABove & Beyond playlist from Halloween 2009; was my first time seeing them and wanted to see if I could come up with a tracklist. I was lucky enough to come across a review thread from tranceaddict from way back then. I must say holy hell, the review section from this night was 12 pages long. TWELVE PAGES. Vastly different from today where it seems we are lucky to have even a single person review an event.

Long story short... Bring back deeper/better/longer reviews??

Good reviews happen for good parties. I think a lot of the "reviewing" also happens in the event thread itself; I recall the Drumcell thread getting pretty jam-packed with raving reviews shortly after it happened (Output, not Cell Injection).

Anyways, I'm all for more post-event discussion. I say if you go to an event and you don't see a post about it the next day, start one up. I'm sure plenty of people have lots to say.

lack of lasers = lack of reviews

With the 12 million music media sites online most of the people who used to write heartfelt reviews on forums are now doing it in somewhat of an official capacity in the form of articles on music sites rather than forums.

I believe that to be the case based on the fact that several people who post on this site also write reviews for my site or have written them for several other local sites.
