Why more empathetic, much more quiet and reserved, unless I am around friends (or really drunk). I tend to be far more respectful and long tempered too when dealing with people.
Really depends on the person/people I am with though.

I'm more polite. I enjoy speaking my mind here.

I think you're being a little hard on yourself. Lot of techies have that problem. Some of it comes from how you were raised and your personality. Setting all of that aside socializing is a skill that takes time and effort. Black people have a god given talent for socializing.

I've met some people who spew the most monumental bollocks and are complete assholes behind their computer screen, yet they are perfectly amiable in real life. I don't know if those types of people are to be trusted. You really can't be sure who they really are; the internet jerk or the pleasant person you met IRL.. Which one is it?

It doesn't really come across on here, but in real life I have a really great ass.

It's a well known phenomenon that internet anonymity causes people to lose their inhabitations. IRL you can't go around telling people what you think of them. Whether it's co-workers, clients, friends or family.

I'm aware of that. But certain people get off on being complete cunts online, and go out of their way to be mean, condescending and generally extremely disagreeable behind their computer screen, yet they're gentle lambs in real life.
Issues...
