Unhappy

Sometimes, (depends on the record) when I try to scratch (just to beatmatch) the needle starts to skate... Really annoying!! I've been f*cking around with stylus-weight and with the anti-skating control, but it doesn't seem to help.
Has anyone of you a solution????

Thanx in advance.

Cool

About the only thing I can suggest is try not scratching. It just f*cks your records up anyway.

Read This!

your going to have to tweak your decks to the max if you want satisfying scratching...

i think i know what he means, im just starting out and i have the same problem back cueing... or should i say, "front" cueing, because that's how ive been practicing.. but when you scratch over the beat, it skates to the beginning of the record (if you're, say, 16 beats/4 bars in).
is there a solution to this?

what kind of sound am i looking for so i can back-cue properly..
