Epic Trance tracks that were actually epic

I appreciate Ishkur for his contribution to dance music. He coined the term epic trance, but it was simply a synonym for uplifting trance or anthem trance. there is an obscure but real subgenre called epic house, which consisted of house tracks long in duration. Considering that definition, it got me thinking, why can't epic trance mean the same thing? Why not actually bring meaning to the term epic in epic trance? No offense to Ishkur.

This is a track that inspired me to make this thread. it's a fairly long, adventurous trance track and I believe it's worth every penny considering it's not a bargain purchase online.

Thats why you got a huge tiesto tattoo on your arm when the scene was really dying.

This isn't a typical trance tune recommendation thread, although it probably does appear that way. I'm simply trying to re-write history when it comes to the meaning of epic trance, and god forbid I hope I don't get crucified for it. according to webster, epic means "large and impressive in size, grandeur, extent, or conception." google's definition describes it as a long poem. in this case, I'm just suggesting that long, adventurous trance tracks should truly be considered epic trance. yeah, this thread probably comes off as pointless but I just wanted to redefine epic trance even though nobody probably cares anymore in 2014.
