oh you guys are all jaded fucks... there is some tech-ier things here and for Markus great! Hes not fucking umek or funkagenda so what are you expecting?
He plays progressive trance with a darker edge mostly. Hes not going to be freakin' Hawtin overnight nor should he be.
To the rabbit hole we go... I heard enough fuckin tech house bangers all weekend this was refreshing.

yea, I agree.
I was hoping the NWP sound wouldn't cross over to Markus Schulz sets, but now they both sound the same. Guessing the Ferry influence is to blame here.
I've also noticed that Markus hasn't used the 'rabbit hole' phrase in a while, but we'll see how is Canada sets sound like this month. (solo at the GUV and a set at stereo)
hopefully he releases a Dakota album soon and shuts us up.

i know Markus has gotta do what he's gotta do and play stuff to appease the new generation of clubbers/festival goers, and while i did enjoy the last 30 min of his BM set, i really thought it would just be 3 hrs of rabbit hole/techno since most burners are into that kind of music anyways.
wasted opportunity i guess. :-/

My camp had a meet up @ Markus' Burning Man set. Of the 20 people in our camp, 18 left within 15 minutes for groovier pastures. Even Above & Beyond before him was a much better time.
