Maybe but I'm doubtful. His best chance was Wimbledon this year and he wasn't able to pull it off. He might be able to hit form like he did vs. Murray at Wimbledon but even that I think is questionable.

Yeah, Wimbledon is his best chance for sure, he's beatable on hard courts it seems in the past few years. Murray's a very good player but he never was a threat to Federer in a 5-set match...5-1 grand slam head to head.

It'll be interesting to see how long Djokovic can sustain his level of play before it takes its toll. Nadal's dominance of Federer and clay seem to be catching up with his knees.

Dominate? It was only expected. Recent changes in court surfaces have favored power hitters like Novak. I'm not taking all credit away from him but it is illusive to think it is dominance. He's only winning this much and staying at number one because he's the one that has benefited the most from the changes.

He can win as many majors as he wants, and even break Roger's record, but when all is set and done, he won't even be considered one of the great ones in history, let alone the best in the game.

He's been challenged by two of the greatest players in the history of tennis his entire career. Although he fucked up in the French final, he finally beat arguably the greatest clay court player ever - Nadal. A few months later at Wimbledon, he beats arguably the greatest grass player - and overall tennis player - in the world to win it.

He's taken the throne and crown - for now. And best of all for him, there's no one out there to challenge him really like Nadal and Fed did him. If he fucks up at the U.S. Open somehow, you can start to talk again. Until then, please shut the fuck up and cheer for Andy.

Yeah, used to dislike Novak in the early days. But then he started to become a lot more self-depracating... I think it was the one year he lost at the US Open finals to Rafa.

Anyway, he's clearly the top of the big 4 now. As much as I like Federer, it's hard to see him winning another slam. It would be nice though.

I DID give him some credit.

It's funny how you mentioned the two courts that have been modified the most to slow down the game to actually give validity to Novak's accomplishment. Perhaps you need to do a bit of research before going all fan-boy on others. Most everyone and their mothers know nowadays there's no big difference between the type of courts, which is why Novak can beat Roger in grass and Nadal in clay. Although, to be fair, the latter isn't at his best as of late.

I'm an objective tennis fan, thank you very much. I have no favorites. You clearly are, though.

He's the best in the game, right now. If he wins the U.S. Open, this two-year run he's had will be one of the best ever.

Who will challenge him in the next few years? Don't worry, I'll wait.

The way he's mastered his return, who knows what a 'few years' can lead to.
