I don't think I'll upgrade from Komplete 9 standard this time around. There are a few things in K10 Ultimate that I wouldn't mind having (e.g., Molekular, Classic Reverbs, and a few others), but nothing I really need. The new Reaktor-based synths seem cool, but don't really interest me that much. Besides, I don't want to upgrade to Ultimate, then be stuck in an Ultimate-only upgrade path in the future (NI doesn't allow you to upgrade from an Ultimate version to a Standard version AFAIK). Ultimate just has way too much bloat for me. I'll either just skip it altogether, or maybe look for good deals on secondhand licenses when everybody upgrades to K10 and sells off their redundant individual licenses.
Yeah I agree and with Cryo on this one, will wait for a license in the future.

Thought about it.
I like the non bad pianos and Drive distortion, but that's not enough to get me to upgrade to K10 standard.
Ill wait for K11.

I think I'll wait until next summer when they do a 50% sale to upgrade. I see a few things I want, and it would be a bargain to get it @$699. But I'm dying to get any of this stuff, so I'll stick w/Komplete 7 for now.
I also just noticed it has a sound browser... so that explains the browsing features of the keyboard... hhhhmmmmm...
Kinda reminds me of Kore and how we all got screwed...

Thats true, they usually do a sale from time to time. 50% off the update sound good.

Are there finally scalable GUIs for the synths, especially Kontakt?

Polyplex is virtually the same as Twisted Tool's S-Layer, but specialised for drum samples, huh?
