This weird guy is a really good producer. Im saying that altho I havent heard too much of his work. Alberto Balsam is one of my alltime favorite tunes any genre.. Windowlicker is also sick! Ive heard some other tunes but as you may notice Im a novice to this guys music.. I wonder if you guys could name your favorite tunes by him.. And also, how would you define his music? Its so original, I wouldnt know what to call it.

I prefer his ambient and chillout tunes, especially the tunes on his 1st ambient album, Selected Ambient Works 85-92. The 2nd ambient album, Selected Ambient Works vol. II includes a few wonderful tunes but mostly they are quite dark & creepy for being ambient & chillout..
My fav Aphex Twin tunes are:
1. Heliosphan 4:51 (SAW 85-92, track 7)
2. Pulsewidth 3:47 (SAW 85-92, track 3)
3. Ageispolis 5:21 (SAW 85-92, track 4)
4. Rhubarb 7:36 (SAW vol.II, CD 1, track 3)
5. Lichen 4:04 (SAW vol.II, CD 2, track 8)

Beware of the old skool sounds!! The tunes on "Selected Ambient Works 85-92" actually are from between '85-'92.

Hey you left out "XTal"! Surely that was a mistake. Cool tune. I dont like much of his stuff though. Gets a lil too wierd heh. I love "Ageispolis" though and "Windowlicker" is pretty cool too. Although I gotta be in a wierd mood to really appriciate it otherwise it just anoys me.

Aphex Twin is one sick dude. But a damn good producer.Makes everything from manic IDM over acid to ambient.I really like the "Two Remixes" 12" he fired out earlier this year.(Remixes of 808 State - Flow Coma and DJ Pierre - Box Energy).Twisted acid madness

RARRRR! yer me likes aphex twin too, im not overly educated on him, but i think the guys a genius, hes one of them guys, hoo say ' my music is art', and it is, its a werk of art....

my faves are windowlicker, come to daddy (fuckin ace) and come to daddy(faulteroy mix)

apparently on one of his new tunes... if you look at the tune in soundwave form, you can see a picture of aphex twin in the soundwaves..... so basically he made a part of the tune through a picture of him!!!!

the video clips to Windowlicker & Come to Daddy r quite disturbing

but yeh i picked up a copy of his album DrukQs cauz lots of ppl told me this guy was really talented........

the names on the tracks r shit like "Qsadogjneogtinwoeri"....lilterally

and they r just a soundclash of madness and psycho beats, sound like the same effct i'f get if i banged the shit out of my keyboard......this is certainly wat it sounds like he's done.

and thatz just the tracks that have sum action, the others r just weird noises......1 track is a dude singing happy birthday 2 another dude

Gwareck11 is the most disturbing, u hear all of these noises, then screaming, than a loud bang, then it all goes silent

please explain........this guy scares me, seriously

lol the video for come to daddy is the best video i have ever seen..... the forst time i saw it i was about 14, all my family went to bed, i was the onyl one up, at about 3 in the morning, id stayed up to watch mtv partyzone, and this was the last video, and i was delighted,.. in some devilishly scary kinda way.

the guy is fucked, but it makes for good listening in my opinion, try a joint or two, put the volume on fairly loud... track: come to daddy, lets say.... and enjoy!
