very very nice bren-f!
the only complaint i have that is it is very similar to the dutchforce and rank 1 remix, which is on the b-side of the vinyl and the vocal sample doesnt add anything to the song imo.
but as i already expected.. your strings are great and so is the whole track..i love this one! very well done!
and just out of curiousity...what kinda equipment do u use to make music?

w0w.. when I pressed the "play" button, I was like
Fast!!! I didn't expect this. But I got used to it very fast, so no problem. The bass and the synth are very nice and for the strings I really don't have to tell you that I just simply LOVE them
But as John said, it's very similar to the dutchforce/rank 1 remix. Try adding a unique new sound to this track, it'll make it differ from the others..
damn ! you were faster ...just working on a remix of this tue, too, although I got very few time cause of school and work...gotta check this out downloading now...

Damn man, This song is better then any other mix of this song. The only thing that I don't like is the vocals and the piano.
I feel humbled.
Can you go into some details on your mastering/fx use?
Bren F. Change your name and get a record contract.

Hey Fuzz,
Cheers for the comments

errm, well, I tend to do most of the mastering within reason itself, the Compression and EQ tools in reason are excellent IMO and If used correctly then little is needed to be done in wav editors afterwards.
FX wise, I tend to try not to use reverb on the Percussion and bass as this muddies up the sound of the mix (a mistake I used to make a lot in the past)
Try loads of compression on Bass and kickdrums, and pan a few of the perc samples (hi-hats etc) left and right to get a more stereo feel to the beat.
asfor the Leads and Pads, I used loads of reverb, delay and highered up some of the higher EQ levels to sharpen them up and give them more depth.

Whats wrong with my name ?
I was actually thinking of either changing my name or creating a second project under the Name of 'Skytranzer' what do U think ?
