Has the Cream nightclub in Liverpool really properly closed its doors? As i've been told that its open Wednesday and Saturdays for students, please let me know!

yup its gone

Yep, Cream's gone from Liverpool on a Saturday night. They held their 10th birthday celebrations last weekend (playing through 'til 9am), then closed the door.

Wednesday's is Medication (student night), playing a range of music (i.e. 80s, charts, cheese, RnB). www.medication.co.uk/liverpool.html

To be honest, I'm not completely sure if there's a replacement night at Nation on a Saturday. I don't think there is (yet).

Decent alternative is Alderaan@The Lemon Lounge http://www.itchyliverpool.co.uk/venues/72.html
