Thanks man, but what the fuck, Korg? Are they being obtuse on purpose? How not to launch a product by the marketing dept. at Korg.
The only mention of the Electribe sampler is a tiny link at the bottom of the Electribe page (which is only about the Synth Electribe).
So it seems the "electribe music production workstation is just a synth and rompler version.
Then you have the Electrive sampler which also happens to have a synth engine and a bunch of built in samples.
There seems to be a ton of crossover between the two models - Why the fuck didn't they just combine the two?
I think I'm leaning towards the sampler version, but it all hinges on how you load the samples. If there's a library editor on the host computer, then it's a done deal, but if those ******s still make me load samples by SD card, then Korg, you're dead to me.
Er, did you actually listen to it? I mean each to their own, but I'd prefer to listen to a cement mixer full of seagulls than that din.
It's cute that the DS can be used like that but this has been floating around forever; I remember seeing a teaser of this maybe two years ago and it sounded shit then. If you like Dubstepchiptunes, OK, but then again, you still like Dubstepchiptunes.
