ok, i dont really have a clear picture of what psy/goa really is, since i havent listened to it much.

all i've heard (now, correct me if i'm wrong) is that infected mushroom is supposed to be a really good example of psy/goa stuff...

right now, i'm downloading some infected mushroom trax off kazaa, and imo, it just sounds like acid trance, just not as bangin as what i'm used to. it seems like they tone down the beat, and their focus is on the acid....

(ok, that probably sounded wierd to u. but i spin hard acid trance. stuff like Warmduscher- Hardcore will never die (derb mix), and Kai Tracid- Trance and Acid. both of which have really hard, strong bass beats. what i'm hearing from infected mushroom has weaker beats, but very powerful, trippy acid lines)

also, this relates to those threads about music progression.
it seems as if psy/goa is really more of an offshoot of acid trance.

what do u think?
