Anyone else very anal about who they allow in their online lives?
I am super anal about who I add to Instagram and Facebook. In the opposite way then most people. I don't allow ppl I work with, people I date, people I am starting a new relationship to be part of that life. Random ppl sure.
Anyone else like this?

what about energies, frequencies and passions. Are you aware of your multidimensional ability to open doors and invite things subconsciously? somatically?

I fixed the thread.
An intro: I've been online since I was 8 and I'm a total introvert but the online world let my sarcasm/sense of humour thrive in a way that just wasn't possible in person. I'll never forget 1987 and when I dialed into a 4 line chat BBS in Toronto called FAN. Up until that time I was only able to chat with the guy who run a BBS but to type in real-time with others was nothing short of amazing. For a good 3 months I was completely addicted...I would get online right after school and hide my homework under my bed....so I could do it late at night without anyone knowing. Registration was 18+ and most were in college/university...so it forced me to have a dictionary/thesaurus on hand since A) I lied about my age and B) I didn't want to get lost in the conversation.
What is funny to me today are the select family/friends who are on facebook ALL THE TIME now, like it is nothing, were many of the same people who for many, many years would poke fun at me being online or meeting people that way.
It was always a thing to be anonymous online...hence Swamper and the green dude. TA was a bridge to social stuff/clubbing/nightlife and it took a lot of getting used to in the beginning. One rule I had though was to not get too friendly with some people ...since I was always being called upon to mediate between stupid online disputes (and some offline ones too). If you get too close you start playing favourites and then you can't be objective. "Delete this post", "Ban this person", "give me this persons email". blah blah blah.
99% of the people I'm friends with on fb I have met in person ...I don't believe in adding randoms ...especially the (fake) female ones with super hot pics who befriend friends of mine (that have 2000+ friends) and don't screen anyone they add.
The thing I never predicted but that gives me the most pleasure - are all the relationships that others (and myself) formed via TA.
So, thank you, cor whores... most of you.

Girls I'm dating I never let on my facebook. It makes it difficult because they assume it's because I'm married. Work people generally no..but there's a few people I like to go out with for a drink here and there and so they're on my facebook.
I can't understand people who post their entire lives on facebook (pictures of their kids and what not) and have like 400+ friends.
I'm a pretty private person and (well I don't post much about myself on facebook anyway) I don't like acquaintances to just watch me.

I'm so anal about who i let in to my life I don't have a facebook, twitter, or any social media.
I have two email addresses and the same phone numbers for years (18 years UK mobile, 8 years US mobile). If I want to be in touch with someone, they know how to get hold of me.
I actually really fucking hate the way FB gives you the false impression of knowing someones life by what they choose to post. Firstly, It's a fake reality and you can also see someone that you haven't spoken to in two years and know what they've done, where they've been. It's like knowing someone without really knowing them. I only have social media accounts for company use, and I'm actually really glad I don't have them for personal.

I hate having family on Facebook. They honestly get really upset sometimes about my shananigans. Lol
I got into a fight with my brother in law over a bill Cosby article. I was like "why would you follow my activity to a article then get upset when I comment that in all likely hood I would probably go watch his stand up if he came here"
Like honestly who cares what he did in his personal life. MJ gave bjs to little cancer struck children but you still listen to his music. Why can't I enjoy a comedian at his trade??
