So they spent nearly half of the video showing off a scalable mixer, and breezed through a couple other very basic feature updates.

Either this video does not do the update justice, or Image Line have started taking tips on how to be half-assed from Propellerheads.

I downloaded it last night and checked it out briefly. I still don't like its workflow, but, hey, free upgrades for life.

Reminds me of a movie trailer you see in the theatre.

Just looking at the video most of the changes seem fine to me, except the wires on the mixer. I am guessing most FL Studio users have never worked with hardware before and as such it is more distracting than nostalgic.
