My Reason goes very often to demo mode... I have bought it (I have Reason 7.1.1). I mean it goes to demo mode while it is open. And I close it + try to re-open it shows the selection "window" asking do I want to:
Register and Authorize
Run with Internet Verification
Run in Demo Mode

Usually I need to close Reason couple of times and re-open it couple of times when this window appears. And after re-opening it couple of times it's suddenly starts to work fine again... Until it goes to demo mode some point.

Anyone else having same problem?
Why this happens? Does the Reason 8 have the same problems?

Sounds like you have a corrupted Authorizer. Have you tried reinstalling it all?

I use Mac. I don't think I have codemaster dongles - I don't know what that is actually :/

I have done the re-authorizing also. But I still have this issue.

Hmm... Maybe I should start using the "Run with Internet Verification" since I USUALLY have internet connection working at my home Maybe that will solve the problem then. Just a bit silly when Reason always goes to demo mode. Would like know WHY!? Is it my computer or is it Reason. So strange.

my advice would be to contact Propellerheads about this issue - they should be able to walk you through the authorisation process.

youve paid for the program after all so why not avail of the support?

Thanks, you are right! I think I really should do that. I was just wondering if this is very common problem. But seems like it's not that common...

stuff like that should register fairly simply. maybe something went wrong with the install. maybe if you are on windows 7 you might have to "run as administrator" or something when registering, could be any number of things!

Sounds like there might be something wrong with Authorizer, but seriously though contact Propellerhead! Their support is very good. I must have written about 30 times with questions ranging from the very stupid to really uncommon technical things and they have always been really helpful.
