Just got my tickets. Monsanto and Debo are opening (no dub name anywhere on this) word on the street is there is some funny stuff going/not going on with dub. Good to see some real music back at Firestone

Mon and debo killed it as usual. Wink was playing great at the beginning of his set and than it took a weird then to orlando breaks and other old school this sounds. Blah. Typical Dj that comes to orlando and plays lame orlando music. Could have went a whole diff direction based on the first few tracks

I feel the same way he started out good then dived. Was still fun night hanging out. The venue is pretty cool first time going. Lane 8 is coming Oct 22nd.

I'm so over Orlando to be honest.

The scene here sucks ass and let's face it, it's not gonna change anytime soon. Sure there's been some good parties and there will be good parties in the future, but they're scattered amongst lame, shitty parties. And the Social, to me, is the last place that should be hosting house music parties. Went to Derrick Carter last year and wow what a weird, strange vibe. Half the people in there had no idea what was going on, and the sound was atrocious. Felt bad for Derrick like I felt bad for the other Derrick (May) at Epic a couple of months ago.

Can't wait to get my degree and get the fuck out of this shithole. Downtown Orlando has steadily been going down the shitter for the last 5 years, and I'm not just talking about house music. The entire downtown scene is horrible. Can only go to places like Sports Town for cheap beers so much.
