Weekend Report
Wow. Although i havent posted on here much over the last few months, this weekend inspired me to post. As you may, or may not, have known, i went to Ibiza for a month over the summer. Thats another story. Anyhow...
... not bragging, just trying to share my experience, i stayed around Graham Golds house last night, after Peach. If, Graham, your reading this, then let me know if what i put is okay with you.
For those who dont know me, I have been a regular at Peach at the Camden Palace on and off for about 4 years now, and first met Graham when he played at Mirage@Windsor. I'd met him numerous times after that, ie Matrix @ Reading etc. This year, by sheer chance, i met his son in Peach, and we have become friends. He is a very good DJ in his own right. Anyways, back on subject...
At Peach, Graham Gold played Gorella, the original B side to Gouryella, at Peach@Camden Palace, London. Sorry if the spelling is wrong, but still, that distinctive bassline... powerful. It was a classics night, btw, so he was allowed to play classics.
Let me just say his record collection is amazing! Aroundabout 35,000 vinyl if i am correct. I managed to find an original white of 'strings of life', which i was shocked to see! This vinyl collection went way back, make your own conclusion...
more info if anyone requests, otherwise, at time of typing, i am... tired...
