DJ Micro & DJ Synthetic Live @ Fuel, S.A. 11.02.02 review
Oh what a great night!
Micro played an awesome set, blending new with classics (of trance, obviously)... even playing a couple of his own promos (some of which he gave to synthetic!) Most notably awesome was a remix of Nirvana's "Come as you Are", which i must say was amazing and really dropped the place... All in all i would say Micro's set was a 7... worth the money but not necessarily "unforgettable"....
Now, when DJ Synthetic came on with his first track, he blew the place out of the water (and Micro with it!) Synthetic played a slightly higher-energy set with no classics (all new sh*t), and pretty much blew the place up altogether... A lot of people were saying how crazy that was that the resident DJ came on after the main act and killed him, LoL... Synthetic opened with Fischerspooner's Emerge (a certain secret remix... muahahahaaa).
Majority of the club was at first like "huh?"... but when the beat kicked in and the hi-hats started going, the place went ape-shit.... Micro didn't seem too pleased with Synthetic upstaging him, and Micro promptly left...
We are working on a rip from Synthetics set, and i will try to post it up here for all those that want it... Synthetic's set was an easy 9 on the scale of 10, and one of the best i've heard.
