I've cut my beef consumption to a lean steak every two weeks. No more hamburger meat. I used to eat turkey or Canadian bacon as a substitute for traditional bacon, but I cut that too (it's been tough, as I love having a breakfast meat with my eggs). No more deli meats, either. Basically just stick to chicken and fish from the local market. I keep asking myself at what point am I going too far, though. I don't want to get too crazy about my diet, but I want to be conscious of what I eat as well. Polish people eat pork every day, especially various types of sausages and hams, which seem like the worst culprits. I don't hear of them complaining about cancer. So what gives?
