Party Hat My Site

Guys, I now have a personal Website:

http://djeugene.vze.com

You're welcome to visit, sign the guestbook, download my latest mix, etc.!

I'd like to hear your comments about the overall design, what you think should be improved, etc.

There are some things there for you to enjoy, you'll see

And, after you view it (and maybe sign the guestbook), if you have any JavaScript experience, I'd like to ask for your advice about one problem I'm having on the site... by the way, see if you can find it!

Enjoy and thanks!

Site design is nice. Simple but nice. Perhaps the wav samples could be done as mp3s to save loading time?

That would be nearly impossible.

First of all, HTML -- even with JavaScript extensions -- doesn't know how to deal with MP3's; only MIDI and WAV, I believe.

You'd have to embed some kind of an ActiveX control or an MP3 applet, and I don't want to do that, it's too complicated and would make the design worse...

Am I correct in saying that HTML has no natural way of dealing with MP3's?

At least I made the WAVs as small as possible, with a pretty low bitrate...

I haven't dealt with html, but I do know that you can make an extremely simple mp3 player using Active X controls.. in fact I made an mp3 player in visual basic for a computer programming class ISU in high school, it is very simple. You use windows media player active X controls, just a couple lines of code.
