does Obama say anything to anyone to get elected, or is he indeed a radical?

if you can answer yes to either of those two questions with certainty...or even if you can't...he does not need to be the President.

Even if that's true, it just leads to the conclusion that this is a non-issue. If demand goes up or stays the same, and there is no alternative, then the price of electricity will just go up to pay for any surcharge. It's hardly a threat to the industry...

it's a non-issue if we're talking in terms of generations or even decades but as far as i can tell he's not. every indication is that he want's to do this now or sometime within his term regardless of the short term effects or our current capabilities.
