Jealous of those in Miami this weekend ...some of which are now on the beach hung over in this position:

As soon as I'm off work I'll be doing laundry, then going to a friend's costume party. And hopefully we'll get to bring a few girls back to the place once it slows down.

In complete darkness, listening to techno. Gonna go play Fun Run 2 on my phone then watch old re-runs of House MD. Maybe read a bit on psycho-pharmaceutical medication. We've had an interesting case with a bi-polar girl with psychotic symptoms which was gliding more and more towards not recognizing the difference between reality and hallucination. So we put her on a high dose of Zyprexa and she snapped back to reality.

F1 season starts this weekend, first race Down Under. Hope Max will do Max.
First tomorrow morning at 9 with my son at the soccer field, afternoon swimming, then visit my sister for her Birthday.

My car broke down and towed to the dealer but my parents loaned me a car so I'm back in business.

Went for another hike this morning. On the way back I spotted a bird called a Lewin's Rail, which was cool because they're very rare. Rare to the point that if I were to mention the sighting to any of the birding groups around Brisbane, literally hundreds of people would turn up where I spotted it, within an hour, trying to get a look at the thing I didn't have my cam, so no pics. Plus, it fucked off as soon as it saw me.

I notice online they're not endangered, so why are they so rare? Do they just hate people and fuck off when they hear humans approaching?
Girlfriend and I are going out for some cocktails and jazz tonight, but I'm spending the day doing research. Tomorrow will probably be slow and lazy.

Yeah, they're extremely shy and don't like people at all. Also, it depends on where in Australia you are. In most places around Brisbane here, they're considered endangered and hence quite rare. Other areas/states have higher populations of them.

I worked, huzzah.
In the day I went to the bank to have my name changed, and opened up an RRSP. Moved my savings into mutual funds too. Figured with this second job I should get a little more aggressive about the way I save money.
