Out of all the big names that I've heard in this city this year, most of them performed like shit! Yes, you've heard me say it... why? Because some of them think so highly of themselves that they found it ok to play just downright anything and expect it to be welcomed with amazement (I won't put any names down at the moment, cuz then I'll have hundreds of you busting my chops for it). But only a few names deserve the title of being some of the world's top DJs --> Tiesto, for one, even tho he's playing the same shit over and over in every club he visits and is getting on my nerves a bit, he still takes the title for that talent and skill... (he rocked the Forza in Montreal, respect!)
Close second are Satoshi Tomiie and Steve Lawler... why them? Just because those 2 champs played such amazing sets, with so much energy & uniqueness that I only managed to recognize 3 tracks in the whole night! Now that's my type of a party! None of this "if he plays Wallhalla this time again, I die" shite... creativity, energy, uniqueness, effort is what I am looking for, and so far this year I haven't seen that (then again, I've missed half of the parties that happened around here).
And the third spot I leave for the Deep Dish guys (Sep. 1), for the reasons stated above (creativity, effort, etc).
Everyone else that I've heard was just all right... nothing special, the usual. Bah...

True true...I agree with what u said, cept for the Tiesto bit. And even tho I didn't see Satoshi and Steve, I'm sure they owned, like you said. What did u think of Seaman and Sander? I don't think anyone will match those 2 sets for a while. And which DJ's do you think were slacking off this year???
I so wish I went for Lawler/Tomiie, as well as Lee Burridge
