How do you guys create your basslines, beats, strings?...
I use the matrix and then I draw lines but with other songs i saw that they draw every note in a pianoroll?
is it wrong how i do it?

No that isn't the wrong way to do it.
it is simply an alternative to using the piano roll.
Different people prefer using different methods
